I'm the person behind Bloom Arts and I'm delighted to meet you!

I started Bloom Arts in 2012 and it's been my main focus since 2020, when I decided to make some changes in my life following some health challenges. My previous roles include Director at Live Music Now North East, Education Manager at Opera North  and Relationship Manager at Drake Music. I was Co-Director of Coquette Burlesque & Cabaret for ten years, and have also worked for literature, theatre and community development organisations.

My qualifications include BA (Hons) English Literature (Cardiff) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts Management. I'm a Clore Leadership Programme 'Pulse' graduate and recently completed an MA Social Research at the University of York.

 Originally from South Wales, I now live in the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with my husband, son and dogs.
